The Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Benefits of Improv

My work as a therapist showed me the potential of improvisation to support growth and connection. My doctoral research deepened that understanding, exploring its social, emotional, and behavioral benefits.

Alongside Improv Mind Method workshops, I offer this 1.5-hour continuing education course for fellow therapists to explore how improvisation can inform their clinical practice and support their own social, emotional, and behavioral development.

90 minutes · 1.5 CE hours
Activities, discussion, and reflection explore improvisation’s core principles, their connection to everyday life skills, and their relevance to therapeutic practice.
